Actively Caring in my cohort.

As I’ve observed class the last few days, I’ve been really touched by the number of Actively Caring bracelets floating around my cohort. From Frankie giving me his scrap piece of paper when I had none, to him giving Reggie a Strengths Quest code when Reggie was the only one that hadn’t done it, to Kelsey recording an entire week’s-worth of lectures for me when I took an opportunity to go network at the Democratic National Convention and missed three weeks worth of classes.

On the first day of class, that was my first announcement – a little blurb about this movement, how the bracelets got started, and how I wanted to keep the spirit alive in our cohort as we all began to acclimate and get to know each other.

I’m really gonna have to get this hashtag trending in my own life – #ilovemycohort.
