Currently enjoying watching students practice their TED Talks. While enjoying some delicious chicken-pesto salad that Kristin made for me before she left to go back to D.C. for the week.

On one piece of feedback, a fellow student wrote (about my talk): It’s hard to take notes because you’re so compelling. That was definitely my WIN for the day. I appreciate that I’ve been blessed with the ability to speak well publicly. The flow and thought stream of my talk still needs some work, though, and that was another great takeaway I had from the comments they all gave.

I WAS SO EXCITED THAT MY NEW BUSINESS CARDS CAME IN ALMOST A WEEK EARLY!!!! Shout out to Phillip P. $$ Hess for suggesting moo.com for these bad boys.

The reverse side. One set of 50 was glossy and the other wasn’t. Not sure which I prefer.

This weekend, I got these sweaters from Old Navy – we’ll keep that on the DL. BUT, I was completely smitten at how I found the VERY last small sized undershirt that matched the red in the sweater perfectly….don’t judge….and it was only $5….WINNING.
