Don’t go there. Live there.

With all of the challenges I’ve faced recently, I’ve officially decided to not let it get in the way of the travel bug that is always biting me. Waiting around for your HMO and doctors and, frankly, your body to do what you want them to do is a game that no one likes to play – especially not me. Especially not after a year-long struggle known as ‘getting healthy.’ See other posts associated with health on this very blog if that’s a vague statement for you, cause I surely don’t intend it to be! :)

But nonetheless, this article is one that I’ve hung on to, and has had a virtually permanent home on my desktop since I first read it. You should check it out. I’ve never, ever believed in selfie sticks becuase I believe it’s a narrative on the human experience as we use sometimes use technology to help us grow and develop further apart from each other (and no, that’s not a good thing!).

And it’s especially relevant considering the adventures I have planned in Montreál, Quebec, Canada this weekend! You can follow those adventures here on my Instagram.
